Chance Kidd is a 2029 C/1B/3B with a 6-1 172 lb. frame from Dallas, TX who attends Prestonwood Christian Academy. Large, well-proportioned frame with present strength throughout and room to add. Recorded a 7.83 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary catcher that received from a lower side-saddle stance with soft hands and a direct midline transfer. Gains ground towards his target efficiently, maintains good direction and produced accurate throws with carry up to 74 mph from behind the plate during drills. Secondary third baseman with anticipatory footwork into the fielding process. Flashed some lateral range to either side, displayed a clean funnel out in-front and delivered accurate throws up to 72 mph during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from an upright, slightly open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and leg lift trigger. Intent based stroke with looseness to his hands and plenty of impact from gap-to-gap. Creates some leverage out in-front and flashed legitimate power potential with carry to the pullside with ease. Fundamentally sound prospect with defensive prowess behind the plate and offensive upside. Named to the 2024 13U Perfect Game Select Baseball Festival.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
