Oliver Soldat is a 2025 SS/MIF, UT with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Madison, WI who attends James Madison Memorial. Primary SS with a compact build with good athleticism. Waits back on the ball a bit but works around it well and moves well laterally with quick feet. Has a quick transfer and release and made throws with good strength and accuracy behind them. Was up to 79 from the infield. Clean arm action and smooth slot change. Right-handed hitter with a narrow base. Uses a small leg lift and stride to widen out getting into his lower half well. Rotates hard at the top half of things and clears the hips well. Has good bat speed with strength in the hands and could impact it hard to the middle of the field. Good student.
