Jacob Imoto is a 2024 LHP/1B with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Oceanside, CA who attends Mission Hills. The lengthy high waisted left handed pitcher works with steady delivery and sound direction down the mound. He creates some hip shoulder separation to release from a high three-quarter slot. The command of the fastball was above average to pair with a quality 1-7 depthy breaker. The offering showed advanced pitch ability and was able to produce weak contact. In the infield, he works through the ball well with the glove and gain ground to the target to deliver accurately to the bases. There's definite zip on the throws. At the plate, he sets up with even upright base and works into a small leg kick load. The path is linear with present bat speed but the timing is still developing. 7.35 60 yard. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
