2023 Fall Northern California Showcase
Adam Boccia is a 2025 OF/RHP, C with an athletic, 5-9 160 lb. frame from Brentwood, CA who attends Freedom HS. Started off the event clocking a 7.23 60-yard dash. A primary outfielder that pitched in the game portion. Defensively, Boccia worked through the ball with confidence and showed quick hands and feet. Was able to deliver the baseball accurately to first base with developing arm strength. Offensively, he employed a middle approach and was able to drive the ball in the gaps a few times. On the mound, Boccia featuresa 3-pitch mix (FB, SL, Cutter) out of a high 3/4 slot. Works exclusively out of the stretch. Shows fundamentally sound mechanics and a smooth repeatable delivery. Fastball has some glove side run. Slider has depth with some cement mixer action. Worked one inning in the game portion and struck out two. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
