Cayden Lohrey is a 2025 LHP/1B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Plano, IL who attends Aurora Central Catholic. Large frame with good length and projection to build; ran 60 yard dash in 8.11 seconds. Primary lefthanded pitcher, moderate leg kick to start, medium arm stroke to high 3/4 slot, developing feel for using lower half down the slope, fastball worked 77-79 mph with good running life to arm side, throws changeup with good arm speed, developing feel for spinning a breaker. Hits from slightly open and upright stance, hovering leg lift, getting barrel out front, some length to stroke, bottom hand dominant, flashes power to the pull-side. Threw 68 mph from first base during defensive workouts. Good student.
