Toby Richards is a 2024 1B/RHP, OF with a large 6-2 195 lb. durable, muscular frame from Corte Madera, CA who attends Marin Catholic. On the mound he features a 4-pitch mix (FB, 2seamFB, SL, CH, CB) out of a 3/4 arm slot. Richards has a slight cross-fire delivery and easy operation. Athletic mover down the mound with clean arm action. Strike thrower that was landing his secondary and producing swing and miss. Showed well during his defensive round. Fundamentally sound with good actions and accurate throws across the diamond. Richards demonstrated he was one of the top bats in the event. Has quiet, balanced setup. Has tremendous bat speed and quick hands. Extremely loud round with over the fence power potential. Ran a 7.4 60-yard. Excellent student.
