Brad Lins is a 2023 SS/RHP, 2B with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Elburn, IL who attends St. Charles North. Medium frame with athletic build; ran 40 yard dash in 5.03 seconds. Hits from spread, even stance with big leg lift trigger, sinks well into hips, turns barrel well on flat plane, consistently hard contact into the air, consistent timing, good hitting tools overall. Looked good in the infield, quick feet with good pace to actions, fields cleanly and makes quick transfers, clocked up to 77 mph on throws across. Also pitched, long and loose arm stroke with clean delivery, uptempo in attack mode, fastball worked up to 84 mph and sat below that, shows curveball with some depth and slider with good tilt. Very good student, named to 2023 Chicago Indoor Top Prospect List.
