Armani Lorusso is a 2024 C/2B, SS with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Brockton, MA who attends Brockton. Long lean frame with a high waist and plenty of room to add strength. Recorded a 7.35 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary catcher that receives from a wider, side-saddled stance with segmented catch-and-throws actions. Gains ground upward out of the crouch and works into a short, compact arm action. Recorded developing arm strength up to 64 mph from behind the plate during drills. Will continue to improve with proper mechanical adjustments and additional strength. Right-handed hitter that hits from a crouched, even base with a tight hand set, high back elbow and big hanging leg lift. Incorporates deep weight shift onto his backside to generate momentum. Intent based swing with developing bat-to-ball skills, uphill swing path and mostly middle-of-the field contact. Displayed best impact when on-time and to the pullside, will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
