Timothy Barry is a 2025 SS/RHP/2B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Davidson, NC who attends Home School. Lean, wiry build with some strength starting to show in the frame. Ran a 6.91 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, moves well laterally, developing arm strength, made the plays well, accurate arm with developing feel to work the slot for the spot, showed off nice lateral range in game action. Secondary right-handed pitcher, full windup from the first base side of the rubber, big side step to belt high leg lift, more head movement going on, filled up the zone, hands break at the belly into shallow inline arm path, three-quarters arm slot, up to 78-mph with the heater, some tilt to the mid 60's slider. used his two pitch mix effectively in his stint. Right-handed hitter, even and slightly open base, long negative toe tap trigger, hands are by the chest with a low back elbow, longer path to it at times, inconsistent timing but flashed some solid impact when on plane. Athleticism is present in the profile that allows for overall projection of the current toolset. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
