2024 California High School All-State Games (Invite Only)
Cael Rivera is a 2026 2B/RHP with a 5-11 180 lb. athletic frame from Ridgecrest, CA who attends Burroughs HS. Started off the event clocking a 7.50 60-yard dash. A primary infielder and secondary pitcher. Rivera showed the ability to make all the required plays and throws working through the ball with confidence. Used the proper foot/glove techniques and delivered the ball with zip across the diamond. On the mound he showed a clean operation with drop and drive mechanics. Fastball sat 78-80 with spins just south of 2000 RPM's. Slider sat 69-71 with spins north of 2100 RPM's. Slider had more sweep than bite. Found some more depth to in the second inning of work. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
