Tanner Koss is a 2027 RHP/1B with a 6-3 240 lb. frame from Summit, NJ who attends Delbarton. Extra-large, physical build with strength present throughout. Primary right-handed pitcher, utilizes a full wind-up delivery from the first base side of the rubber with a belt-high leg lift. Separates his hands at the chest and into a deep arm path. Creates powerful drive with good extension out in front while releasing the baseball from a low three-quarters arm angle. Fastball pounded the strike zone with effortless life present, ultimately peaking at 87 mph. Flashed a shorter breaking ball with slurvy traits to it. Offers some upside as an arm. Secondary first baseman, works through the baseball with a hunched approach. Displayed developing lateral range and agility. Funnels the ball deep before making clean turns and accurate throws across the diamond. Recorded arm strength up to 83 mph. Left-handed hitter, starts in an upright, even stance with a high back elbow. Utilizes a quick leg lift trigger for timing before working into a slightly uphill bat path. Displayed rotational swing mechanics with a developing feel for the barrel. Pulls away from his front-side at times. Impacts the baseball with easy strength when timed up. Had a loud barrel in live action. Projects well as a power hitter with minor mechanical refinement. Posted an exit velocity of 82 mph. Excellent student. Named to the 2025 Mid-Atlantic Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
