Alex Blose is a 2026 C/1B with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Telford, PA who attends Pope John Paul II. Medium build with well-proportioned strength present and projection remaining. Primary catcher, sets up in a bent-knee stance and gets out of the crouch with some urgency. Receives the ball well, utilizing an efficient midline transfer before working into a shorter arm path. Repeats his lower-half mechanics and arm action well, showing good rhythm to the operation. Delivered accurate throws to the bag while recording arm strength up to 72 mph with a pop time of 2.06 sec. Right-handed hitter, starts in an even stance with a high back elbow and high hand set-up. Utilizes a smaller stride for timing before working into a level bat path. Attempts to generate extension out in front and leverage at the point of contact. Showcased the ability to manipulate the barrel throughout the strike zone and work all parts of the field. Produced fairly consistent line drive impact during batting practice. Projects for more power with additional strength and improved lower-half usage. Posted an exit velocity of 77 mph. Ran a 7.34 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
