Treylon Brown is a 2023 OF/1B with a 5-7 173 lb. frame from Sulphur, LA who attends Westlake. He ran a 7.49 sixty. Primary outfielder with a medium athletic build with some strength in it. Brown looked comfortable in the outfield attacking the ball with plenty of aggression while rounding the ball well. He had medium length arm action throwing everything on a line with plenty of accuracy. On the mound he worked a quick tempo with a very athletic operation. Coming from a high three quarters slot he worked a high 70s fastball topping at 80 with occasional cut. He showed good command for a tight slider with two plane break. Right handed hitter he works with a wide even base with a slight toe tap trigger. Brown has quick hands with a downhill swing path. He showed some pull side pop. Treylon is a good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
