2022 West Academic Showcase (Wed-Thurs)
Jeremy Jones is a 2024 OF/LHP with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Porter Ranch, CA who attends Crespi Carmelite. Compact frame with good length to the lower half that projects well going forward. Ran a 6.89 in the 60-yard dash. Outfielder, fields it well on a hop and shows solid arm strength with subtle carry to the bag. Good charge and confidence. Left-handed pitcher, fastball lived low-70s with a 1-7 breaking ball and firm changeup in mid-60s. Good length to project upon on the hill with some feel for a mix. Left-handed hitter, upright and balanced base with a high hand set. Good timing at the plate with solid drives and ability to separate. Gets into lower half well with more to build upon. Very good student.
