Trey Dooley is a 2024 OF/RHP, IF, UT with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Camden, TN who attends Camden Central. A larger frame with some strength showing throughout the build. Projectable frame. High-set waist. Ran a 7.38 60-yard dash. A primary outfielder who shuffled the feet as he worked into his throws. Fielded the ball off the front foot and worked into throws that came out at 89 mph, quite firm. Also worked out as an infielder with good footwork and throws that were on target and showing good carry across the diamond. Soft hands with throws up to 86 mph. A right-handed hitter who has high-set hands and a high-back elbow. Starts with a wider base and barrel wrapped. Showed off some bat speed during his round of BP. Rotated well, got the hands to the ball, and can produce topspin. Was able to lift the ball as well during his round of BP. Produced an 83 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Picked up 4 hits during the games portion of the event while also adding a double to his line. Took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher. Had a leg lift up around the belt with a loose arm action and whip to the arm. Deliberate and fluid delivery. He was an athletic mover on the mound with good control of his body. His fastball was 81-84 T85 mph, spinning up to 2,134 RPMs with some downhill plane and arm-side run. Located well glove-side, establishing the zone early. Showed a slider up to 75 mph with 2,071 RPM spin that tunneled well off of the fastball. Also mixed in a couple changeups. He went out there and competed. Punched out 6 opposing hitters over 3 innings while allowing just 1 hit, plenty to like with his mound presence. Exceptional student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
