Alex Perez is a 2027 SS/2B with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Metuchen, NJ who attends Rutgers Prep. A medium and athletic framed infielder, Perez showed strong actions while moving from side to side, showcasing first-step quickness and range on the dirt. Perez works through the ball well and uses a pair of soft hands, with a profile that leads to up arrow projection on the infield, topping at 83 mph across the diamond. With the bat, Perez starts with an even base, followed by a leg lift load and trigger before firing through. The right-handed swinger showcased a short, compact, and quick stroke producing line drives to all fields consistently. Recorded 86 mph exit velocities while showing off present speed with a 6.96 sixty-yard dash.Very good student. Named to the Fall East Coast Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.
