Scott Longo is a 2025 LHP/OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Milton, MA who attends Catholic Memorial. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and some present strength, additional room to fill moving forward. Ran a 7.33 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, works with tempo and a full windup on the mound, gets to a high three-quarters release point and fills the strike zone, attacking hitters. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, shows command of the pitch with ability to locate with present pitchability. Curveball shows 1-7 shape up to 67 mph, breaks from hand early at times but still keeps hitters off balance, efficient innings throughout outing. Works through the ball and shows athleticism in outfield actions, gets on top of the ball at release, clean actions and in sync through release, projects well. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even base and a lower back elbow at the plate. Strength in hands and works on a linear path through the zone, shows quickness to them and creates consistent contact. Feel for the barrel and repeats, has some jump coming off when squared. Excellent student.
