2025 PG Northwest Indoor Showcase
Jake Pachmayr is a 2027 C with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Boring, OR who attends Central Catholic HS. Started the event off clocking a 5.29 40-yard dash. A primary cacher. Features a medium-sized lean build with plenty of room/time to add. Behind the plate showed quality catch/throw ability during throwdowns. Operated from a knee down set up which he gets out of fast while gaining good ground towards 2nd. Chest high transfers/exchanges and gets to release quick. Showed avg. arm strength (71 mph) and put most of his throws on the bag. At the plate, he sits in a medium slightly open stance with loose hands. Uses a smaller leg lift trigger he initiates early as hands take back slightly. Hands work more short/direct to the baseball for a more steeper path into contact. Some drift at times onto the frontside. On-barrel a good amount during his round where he stayed through the middle of the field with most of his contact. Flashes of some above avg. hand/bat speed which led to some decent impact off the barrel.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
