Michael Busa is a 2025 3B/RHP/C with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Mooresville, NC who attends Lake Norman. Medium athletic build with good present strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a high hand load and a short toe tap trigger, some barrel tilt to start his swing that creates length, keeps his hands compact and direct into the zone, stays balanced and directional well, line drive contact. 7.10 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, has good range for a third baseman and is light on his feet, long and loose arm action with some carry on his throws. Took a turn on the mound, works from a full wind up and a high leg raise start, repeated his mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 83 mph, mostly straight. Also threw a soft slider and change up and had an idea how to mix his pitches while challenging hitters in the zone. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
