Michael Lyons is a 2026 LHP/OF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Kathleen, GA who attends Houston County. Recorded a 8.13 second 60-yard dash time. Primary left-handed pitcher with a compact delivery from his medium frame and slender build. Drop and drive mechanics getting down the slope for the third base side of the slab. Closed landing with a high slot and slight crossbody delivery. Hanging left lift that adds deception to his delivery with fastball at 65 mph (1385 RPM) and curveball 53 mph (1306). Secondary outfielder with young actions reading the hops with two-hand to exchange and throws to the bases at 65 mph. Earlier reads working through the ball with inline momentum will increase arm strength velocity from the outfield as he gets more time out there. Left-handed hitter with a slightly open wide base and bent-knee stance. Short toe-tap trigger with some separation of hands into slot and level swing through the zone. Increased impact as he matures into his frame with added strength and ability to battle in the box during game action.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
