Anthony Sutera is a 2024 OF with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Wallingford, CT who attends Mark T. Sheehan. Sutera works from a medium build with strength present throughout. Exclusively from his primary OF spot, he flashed the ability to get behind the ball well and put himself in positions to throw with an overall low effort operation topping out at 80 mph. Sutera covered tons of ground in game as well with direct routes to the baseball making difficult plays look routine. Offensively, the righty started from an open base with a compact hand set that generated solid impact gap to gap. He displayed a line drive approach with backspin and kept the swing mechanics simple and repeatable, posting a 77 mph exit velo. Ran a 7.14 sixty yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
