2025 PG Kansas City Indoor Showcase
Calvin Stanczyk is a 2028 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Saint Louis, MO who attends Chaminade College Prep. Lean young build with some wiry strength and more to come. Primary shortstop on defense, with fundamental footwork, athletic movements approaching the baseball, soft hands out front to field and a strong arm with accuracy across the diamond. Quick to the baseball and athletic working through the baseball and fielding out front in the outfield. Big arm for the age up to 88 with throws consistently on target. Hit from a wide base with a swell connected swing creating torque and bat speed. Really handled the barrel well and impacted the baseball on a line to both gaps. Developing high level three pitch-mix out of a loose and athletic delivery on the mound. Fastball showed quality shape up to 85 mph. Developing spin traits on the breaking ball with late depth. And a change up with maintained arm speed off the fastball. Shows an advanced feel to pitch and use the mull pitch-mix. Very good student. Named to the PG Kansas City Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
