Aiden Arant is a 2026 SS/RHP/1B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Jefferson, SC who attends South Pointe. Medium frame with a lean build. Ran a 7.32 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, sitting back on the baseball before working into it. Gathers out front and shuffles into release. Threw it 66 mph during drills. Fundamentally sound will make strides with a strength gain. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working into a side-step to a belt high lift. Strides out and does a good job staying direct to dish. Higher slot release and went right after hitters. Fastball up to 72 mph with spin rates up to 1827 rpm. Also went to a breaking ball with vertical actions and spin rates up to 1953 rpm. Left-Handed Hitter, spread out with a pinched in front side to start. Medium leg lift to stride before working into a linear cut. Relies on hands to generate bat speed. Table setter approach looking drive it on a line. Will make strides in the box once he adds strength to the equation. Good Student.
