Neil Murphy is a 2023 IF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Grosse Pointe Farms, MI who attends University Liggett. Medium frame with slender, compact build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.20 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with leg lift trigger, small arm bar in load, repeatable stroke with good rotation and consistent barrel path, showed ability to work to all fields on a line, projects with strength gains. Worked out in the infield, moves well, shows lateral agility and solid footwork, hands work well out front, clocked up to 78 mph on throws across. Excellent student.
