2022 13U/14U California Workout Showcase (Sunday)
Cash Bryant is a 2026 1B/RHP/3B/OF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Temecula, CA who attends Great Oak. Features a tall, lean build with room to add more. Ran a 7.72 60-yard dash. Worked out at first base and in the outfield. Showcased patient approach on the dirt. Has the ability to make the routine plate. Displayed a quality arm capable of producing accurate throws with some carry. Caught the ball consistently during outfield workouts too. Quickly transferred into throwing position. A short arm action produced accurate throws often. More arm strength should come as more strength is added to the frame. Left-handed hitter. Utilizes a square stance with good balance. Simple single-step load keeps head still pre-pitch. Swings on a slight uppercut path with flashes of bat speed. Gets quality extension after contact. Approach stays through the middle of the field well. Flashed some feel for the barrel throughout BP, which helped generate flashes of power to the pullside. Threw on the mound as well. Uses a semi-windup delivery into a slight drop and drive delivery. A high leg kick and short 3/4 arm action hides the ball well throughout the ar swing. The fastball sat 72-75 mph with slight armside run. Showcased the ability to throw it for strikes often, especially to the arm side. Paired it with a curveball at 61-63 mph with slurve-like action. Showcased the ability to generate some bite on the offering. Also flashed a straight changeup in the upper-60’s. Created some deception on the offering using quality arm speed. Still refining the command of the offering. Excellent student.
