2024 National Showcase
Richie Swain is a 2025 RHP with a 6-5 198 lb. frame from Wentzville, MO who attends Timberland. Long and lean body with lots of physical projection remaining. Throws with a mid 3/4's arm slot with fast and loose arm, rotational delivery with coil over the rubber, short stride out front and doesn't get over his front side, still developing consistency on his release. Fastball worked in the low 90's and topped out at 94 mph, mostly straight. Big breaking sweeper was his best pitch, big spin and bite and thrown for strikes more often than his fastball, swing and miss pitch at times. Verbal commitment to Mississippi State

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
