2022 New York Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Jack Stemerman is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Elmira, NY who attends Elmira Free Academy. Solid athletic build, some twitch to his actions and a lot of time to continue growth. Primary position OF, fielding the ball off to the side as he works through the play. Deep funnel into an aggressive crow hop leading to long arm action producing solid throws up to 79 mph from the OF. Will learn to quicken transition in the future and arm will play up even more. LHH working from and open stance, high hand set and staying on his backside to initiate swing. Displayed quick hands and excellent power when on time. Pull side loft with his best contact to this side and found the barrel with good consistency. Very solid round of live BP and looks like a real offensive threat longterm. Very good student and the bat will create a lot of interest in a very short amount of time.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
