Liam Ladd is a 2027 OF/RHP, 1B with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Argyle, TX who attends Argyle. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build, room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.46 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, takes short and quick steps on the approach to the ball, slow momentum moving into release, higher over-the-top release point with effort at release, shows steady actions with the glove, tends to get uphill and can refine lower half direction. Also pitched, worked exclusively out of the stretch, compact arm action through the back with plenty of quickness, throws with intent and shows ability to work downhill. Fastball topped out at 76 mph with running life to it and showed ability to miss bats; developing curveball up to 66 mph with short shape to it. Left-handed hitter, with an open stance and gets wide through lower half, shows a quick and compact stroke through the zone, simple mechanics with a level path to the point of contact. Incorporates present strength and showed jump off of the barrel when squared and on time, has strength in hands. Very good student. Named to 13/14u South Central Top Prospect List.
