Nick DeMaio is a 2025 SS/RHP with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Broomall, PA who attends Monsignor Bonner. DeMaio has early strength in the young build, working from his primary IF spot displaying range to the glove side with velocity potential continuing to develop. On the bump, the righty used a compact arm action to keep the ball low in the zone and produce weak ground ball contact. Off speed presence should become a factor in the future. Offensively, DeMaio started from an even base with high tight hands to produce consistent contact to all parts of the field. Power potential is continuing to grow, posting an exit velocity of 79 mph. Ran a 8.10 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
