2022 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Christos Tassopoulos is a 2024 2B/RHP/3B/SS/OF with a 6-3 188 lb. frame from Stouffville, ON who attends Bill Crothers. Tassopoulos works from a long limbed still projectable build with strength present throughout. Working from his primary IF spot, he displayed long athletic strides to the baseball with lateral range and solid body control to top out at 85 mph across the diamond. He has tools in the bag to develop and has a corner IF profile at the moment. On the mound, Tassopoulos worked from the stretch again flashing the arm speed up to 84 mph from a low to traditional 3/4 slot. The breaker displayed multiple planes and should see more incorporation with confidence. Offensively, the left handed hitter started from a slightly open stance with a low back elbow and simple stride into contact. He showcased quickness to the hands as well as the ability to use all parts of the field. Ran a 7.40 sixty yard dash. Named to Top Prospect List.
