Taiga Zarick Deloney is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends Chicago Hope Academy. Lean, compact build with present athleticism and room to add more strength. Primary outfielder, builds up his momentum to the baseball and works through it well. Bigger stride and separation into release with an attempt to pull down. Gets away from the arm a bit. Delivered throws right to the base while recording arm strength up to 81 mph from the outfield. Right-handed hitter, starts in a wide base with a high back elbow and high hand set-up. Utilizes a toe-tap trigger for timing before working into a level bat path. Remains short to the baseball while attempting to create leverage to the pull-side. Gets drifty and loses his weight over his front foot at times. Developing feel for the barrel with some present strength in the hands. Posted an exit velocity of 79 mph. Plus runner; ran a 6.63 sixty-yard dash. Great student. Named to the 2024 Midwest High School All-State Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
