Adrian Ruiz is a 2026 OF/MIF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Corona, CA who attends Corona. Features a medium-sized lean build with present athleticism. In the OF, showed a quality approach working with present quickness and aggressive intent. Fielded it clean and out front and displayed an arm that got off more uphill throws with above avg. strength that were one-hop accurate to the bag. In the INF, he has quality footwork with adv. glove actions. Avg. footspeed/quickness but glovework was confident and sure. Displayed it early and worked through the ball each way. Arm showed similar strength here as well where he got rid of it quick with accuracy across. At the plate, sets up more narrow. Uses a simple/shorter lower half move. Connected swing where hands/barrel work short and direct with a middle of the field approach. Avg. bat speed for his level but flashed some quality impact/loft a couple times with some deep FBs to CF. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
