Edrick Ayala is a 2025 C/3B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Lakeland, FL who attends Kathleen. Medium athletic build with very good present strength. Right handed hitter, has a very well timed swing with present bat speed and lots of lift, over the fence power with leverage to the pull side, promising young hitter to keep developing. 7.08 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up comfortably in a one knee stance, has good timing and a quick exchange, very good arm strength with carry, very good foundation to keep building on. Good student. Named to the Puerto Rico National Showcases Qualifier Top Prospect List.
