Ran an 8.31 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, fields the ball out front, shows looseness to arm with carry across the diamond, young actions and will continue to refine moving forward, shows accuracy on to first base with a longer arm action. Also pitched, compact leg lift up to belt with a short stride coming down the mound, works exclusively out of the stretch, rotational release but shows quickness to arm while working to a three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 71 mph, mostly true in life, pitched to contact and works across body at times creating cut action. Tight spin on the curveball with 11-5 shape up to 59 mph with short depth; flashed a changeup at 55 mph. Right-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a toe tap trigger and gets closed moving into contact. Keeps hands inside the ball, works on a linear path through the zone. Showed best contact and carry to the middle of the field when getting hands extended, can go the other way, bat speed will continue to develop with added strength.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
