Garrett Fuentes is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Carlsbad, NM who attends Carlsbad. Fuentes works from a medium lean build with additional room to fill out and add strength as a '25 prospect. On the mound, he displayed some rocking action to the delivery with a compact chest high hand set and full arm action with a 3/4 release. He showcased the ability to work backwards in counts with a FB/CB/CH mix, the heat ultimately topping out at 79 mph. From the OF, he produced accurate throws on the bag and made plays asked of him, touching 80 mph. Offensively, the righty started from an even stance with a high hand set and leg lift trigger, generating contact to all parts of the field. Fuentes produced his best swings when out in front with barrel control continuing to refine. Posted an exit velo of 76 mph. Ran a 7.74 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
