Tom Connelly is a 2025 C/OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Massapequa, NY who attends Massapequa. Medium, compact frame with plenty of room to fill out and add strength. Recorded a 5.60 second forty-yard dash time. Primary catcher that received from a slight side-saddled stance with soft hands and step-and-replace footwork out of the couch. Gains some ground towards his target and produced a direct, quick midline transfer. Delivered accurate throws up to 69 mph from behind the plate during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a slightly crouched stance with a high, tight hand set and toe-tap trigger. Developing feel for the barrel with compact, slightly uphill swing path and whole field approach. Displayed some developing bat speed and projects for more power as he refines his mechanics. Will continue to improve with proper mechanical adjustments and additional strength. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
