D'Angelo Rodriguez is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 6-2 193 lb. frame from Woodcliff Lake, NJ who attends Pascack Hills. Rodriguez has plenty of clear strength in the build with physicality present in multiple aspects of the game. Starting from the OF, he got behind the ball well with accurate throws and carry behind the baseball up to 81 mph. The arm action was quick and compact for the righty with room to refine the footwork in the future. On the mound, Rodriguez used a simple operation to get downhill and pound the zone from a high 3/4 slot. He stayed balanced in the delivery and generated consistent swing and miss with the breaker that he could manipulate shape and size of at 2200 rpm. Offensively, he started from an even balanced stance with a high hand set and toe-tap trigger to produce loud impact gap to gap. The stroke was quick and compact with strength to the hands, posting an exit velo of 84 mph. Ran a 7.15 sixty yard dash. Named to Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
