Cooper Bennett is a 2028 RHP/MIF with a 6-1 150 lb. frame from Bradenton, FL who attends IMG Academy. Lean frame with long levers. On the mound, its a rigid delivery with leg lift to waist level. Slightly open landing with full stroke to a high three-quarters slot. Flashed a slurvy breaking ball for a strikeout. Fastball plays true. Good extension. In the infield, he shows good feel for the backhand mechanic with decent lateral range. Changed slot comfortably. Developing arm strength. Right-handed hitter, Even base and small stride into contact. The path is elongated and level through impact. Working behind it some and finding some line drive contact through the middle. Projects with lots of room to add. 7.84 60-yard. Excellent student.
