Matthew Sharkey is a 2025 C/OF with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Furlong, PA who attends Central Bucks-East. Compact, medium frame with a strong lower half and plenty of time to physically mature. Recorded a 7.15 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary catcher that received from a slightly side-saddle stance with quickness to his feet and fairly direct mid-line transfer. Recorded accurate throws up to 72 mph from behind the dish during drills. Secondary outfielder with a developing defensive skill set. Deliberate pace to footwork throughout the process, fields out in-front and works through the baseball with uphill movements into release. Recorded arm strength up to 82 mph during outfield drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a crouched, even base with a flat hand start, high back elbow and toe-tap trigger. Intent based swing with slightly downhill swing path and best impact to the middle-of-the field. Developing feel for the barrel that will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
