Dylan Garcia is a 2027 OF/RHP/2B with a 5-9 128 lb. frame from Staten Island, NY who attends Moore Catholic. Garcia works from a lean projectable build with plenty of time to fill out as a '27 prospect. Starting from the OF, he showcased a medium arm stroke with refining footwork and overall consistent throwing mechanics to ultimately top out at 78 mph. Garcia successfully kept throws low and around the bag with arm strength continuing to develop in the future. On the mound, worked exclusively from the stretch displaying a slightly closed start. Controlled the operation well and released from a 3/4 slot with feel for all quadrants of the zone. FB topped out at 77 mph (1842 rpm). Offensively, the righty started from an even base with a compact hand set and toe tap trigger, generating his best impact back up the middle of the field. He attempted to get the barrel extended with additional room to work into the lower half and create drive, posting an exit velo of 74 mph. Ran a 5.63 forty yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
