2023 Class of 2026 All-American Games
Giovanni Guariglia Jr is a 2026 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-0 198 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Silverado. Thick strong build, especially in the lower half. Side step/leg raise delivery, gets into his strong lower half well, will rush down the mound and leave his arm behind at times. Fastball worked in the upper 80's and touched 90 mph, maintained his velocity well and was still touching 90 mph in the 3rd inning under difficult circumstances. showed nice feel for his curveball and added and subtracted well, flashed a hammer at higher velos with 2700+ rpm's. Introduced a change up late that he could throw more often. Starter body and pitch package. Showed some athleticism at third base on defense and his arm plays well, makes accurate throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow stance with a rock back load, has some strength and ball comes off his barrel well when squared. Good student. Named to the Class of 2026 All American Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
