2023 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Ryan Stoddard is a 2025 3B/MIF with a projectable 6-3 195 lb. frame from Bradenton, FL who attends IMG Academy. Started off the event clocking 7.66 60-yard dash. On the dirt, he worked through the ball aggressively and with confidence showing the proper footwork and glove work. Stoddard's actions are of high level defenders and the arm is accurate, but developing. He made all the required plays with some flare and can throw on the run. At the plate, he showed intent in the swing and squared it up consistently making for a loud BP round. The use of his physical frame and leverage suggests there is definite over the fence power potential. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
