2023 California Workout Showcase (Saturday)
Jayden Parker is a 2026 SS/OF/RHP with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends University City. Slender athletic build with lots of room to fill in and get stronger. 7.07 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, has rhythm and balance in his defensive actions, works through the ball with quality glove work, moves well side to side, makes accurate throws, all the athleticism and projection to stay in the middle infield on defense. Also worked out in the outfield. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a good turn to his load, loose swing that has some whip and extension, creates some young bat speed and some jump off the barrel. Also pitched, has a compact arm action with a mid-3/4's release slot, threw a fastball in the mid 70s with some sink down in the zone, curveball had good spin and some depth at times. Very good athlete who will keep improving as he gets stronger. Good student.
