Eric Fernandez is a 2023 SS/RHP/IF with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Riviera Prep School. Recorded a 6.91 second 60-yard dash time. Large frame with long limbs and a ton of room to fill out and add strength. Primary shortstop who fields with two hands out in front. Deliberate movements into actions with a longer release. Has some twitch to his hands with throws up to 88 mph across the diamond. Left-handed hitter with an even base and leg lift trigger. Upper half dominant swing with some lift out in front. Loft to the swing when he catches it out in front. Strength in his wrists and is able to create some power to the pull side. Tremendous student. Verbal commitment to Miami.
