Ashton Seymore is a 2024 C/1B with a 6-0 198 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends The Latin School Of Chicago. A well-built & physical frame. Projectable frame. Ran a 7.30 60-yard dash. A primary catcher who had a wide base throughout with side saddle setup. Gains ground moving through the throws. Threw 73 mph down to second base and produced a 2.15 pop time. Had a full arm stroke as he let it rip. Accurate to the bag on his throws and was impressive. A right-handed hitter with an even base and high back elbow. Tight hands with strength and physicality. He impacted the ball well during BP and showed off legit juice to the middle of the field. He had a pretty simple approach on display and was able to show off comfortability in the batters' box. Pieced together an impressive round of BP. Produced an 85 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Picked up 2 hits including a double during the games portion of the event. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
