Gianni Ricci is a 2024 RHP/OF/IF with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Loudonville, NY who attends La Salle Institute. Tall and projectable athletic build. Works from a high 3/4's arm slot, tends to rotate early at times and leave his arm behind. Fastball worked mostly in the low 80's and topped out at 85 mph early, works mostly to the arm side, mostly straight. Showed confidence in his slider and it improved the more he threw it, has some sweeping depth at times. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance, gets into his lower half well and swings hard, swings hard, pull side approach with some lift in his swing. 7.40 runner in the sixty. Worked out both in the infield and outfield with developing fundamentals and actions.
