Jonathan Omar Vigoa is a 2022 C/RHP/IF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Rome, GA who attends Rome. Solid athletic build with good present strength. 7.10 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher who has the athleticism to play other positions, gets low and flexible behind the plate, good lower half actions, exchange can get long at times and can be shortened. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a simple load, has present next level bat speed and hits the ball out front with good extension, swing is loose and tension free and projects. Also pitched, has a compact arm action from a high 3/4's arm slot and works downhill well. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, has been in the mid-80's previously at PG events, fastball is mostly straight and thrown with good control. Slider was his out pitch this outing, has power and is thrown for strikes with good tilt, solid outing. Good athlete who will keep improving. Good student, signed with Miami (OH).
