Knox Preston is a 2020 C/IF with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from Nashville, TN who attends Christ Presbyterian Academy. Strong athletic catcher's build. Right handed hitter, hits from an upright stance with a high hand load, loads to his back side well with a short shift into contact, short and direct swing with some bat speed, line drive swing with some lift out front when he gets the barrel turned, mid field to pull side approach, makes consistent contact and keeps the barrel on plane well. 7.51 runner, has quick feet behind the plate and shifts well, clean release on his throws with mature footwork, makes accurate throws, 1.96 best drill pop with game actions. Solid all around player with both offensive and defensive tools.
