2024 National Showcase
Stephen Christopher is a 2025 RHP with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Marshall, VA who attends Highland School. Medium pitcher's build with some present strength. Has a low effort delivery with a full arm swing in back, repeats his mechanics well and projects as a strike thrower. Fastball topped out at 89 mph, mostly straight with occasional run and sink. Big sweeping curveball was his best pitch, 3000+ rpm with up to 19" of horizonal break, throws the sweeper for strikes. Also threw a firm change up with some fading action. Can be effective working to the corners and using the sweeper as his primary pitch. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Virginia Tech.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
