LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2023 West Academic Showcase (Tues-Wed)
Brandon Schaff is a 2025 LHP/1B, OF with a lean 6-0 170 lb. frame from Aliso Viejo, CA who attends Aliso Niguel HS. Started the event off clocking a fast 6.58 60-yard dash. Schaff was a standout on the mound and posted the highest velocity in the event at 88 MPH. Features a 3-pitch mix that includes a fastball, slider and changeup. Fastball has some jump and runs away from righties. Hides the ball well with a slight cross-fire delivery and pounds the zone with consistent strikes. The unique delivery helps keep hitters guessing. Definitely the most valuable pitcher at the event. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
